It was an agricultural land that grew by conquest. The Tsar's empire stretched down to the Crimea and the Black Sea. It covered Poland and the Ukraine. They reached down to Tashkent, Kokand and Samarkand. There were fears that they would get to India and even further. You can see the gun mounted to protect Auckland Harbour to this day. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best. It worked.

The Tsars of All The Russias were not good rulers. Serfdom was only stopped in response to rebellion. Had they taken an interest in their people things could have been very different. Grievances were exploited by political subversives, often Jews. The February Revolution in 1917 was won by the people. When it happened Bolsheviks poured back from Switzerland and America to take over and destroy freedom. The October Revolution or Bolshevik Revolution was the result. It was in fact a coup d'état - a blow against the provisional government which was working toward democracy.

The results were the horrors brought to us by the Bolsheviks, Lenin,  Stalin et al. They were worse than anything Adolf did but the media do not bother to tell us that. When the Berlin Wall came down in 1989 and Soviet Empire fell we thought that we had won but it was not true. The post Marxist infiltration of the ruling classes in Christendom is still there using treachery rather than force. As the Soviets went the apparatchiks emerged from the woodwork and robbed Russia blind. Large companies were sold to buyers at knock down prices. It is estimated that the oligarchs stole 85% of Russian assets. Some of those oligarchs are on the run. Others have gone to ground in Israel because any extradition treaty with them is a dead letter unless the Israelis don't like him and he doesn't pay enough in the way of bribes. Berezovsky, thief, Jew, war monger and political manipulator is being harboured by Her Majesty's Government. It is claimed that one of the seven was not a Jew. I have not found out which one, if any it was.
PS The good word from Siberia is that Vladimir Putin is all right. He has to be better than that semi-literate, drunken loon in the White House [ Bush , in case you are not quite sure ].

It’s not just the elites. The protests by thousands of young Russians against the killing of an ethnic Russian also show much more ethnic solidarity than we see in the West where killing of Whites by non-Whites is routinely suppressed by the media and  the vast majority of Whites are completely mesmerized by the anti-White narrative on any topic related to race.

In fact, Russia may be at peak Putin right now, with only mounting troubles in his future. The crowds were smaller this time than last, but they were not just in the big cities. When there are protests in places like Chita and Barnaul, you know that a lot of people are running out of patience.

Russia Will Sell Gas To Pakistan  [ 8 March 2022 ]

The two leaders reportedly also discussed the long-delayed Pakistan Stream gas pipeline, which is to be built in collaboration with Russian companies.

“Both countries are eager to launch the project at the earliest,” according to Pakistan’s Energy Ministry. The 1,100km (683-mile) pipeline connecting Russia [ It doesn't, the writer just assumed it - Editor ] and Pakistan was agreed in 2015. It is to be financed by both Moscow and Islamabad, and to be constructed by Russian contractors.

Reports of the deal come as most Western countries are rapidly distancing themselves from Russia and imposing heavy economic sanctions on the country in response to its ongoing military operation in Ukraine.

It sounds good to me. Exporting wheat is one thing. The Wiki's write up says this pipeline is purely in Pakistan, running from the port of Karachi to the Punjab. Doing it directly from Russia to Pakistan through difficult country would be problematic. 

 

Germany Warns Against Sanctioning ‘Essential’ Russian Oil And Gas  [ 8 March 2022 ]

The Nord Stream 2 pipeline was set to shore up Germany’s energy needs with cheap natural gas from Russia, until Berlin cancelled its certification prior to Russia’s military offensive in Ukraine.

Germany is currently moving to reduce its reliance on Russian gas, with Economy Minister Robert Habeck announcing on Saturday that it would build two Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminals to allow imports from suppliers like the United States. Meanwhile, Germany is already exceeding the targets set out by the EU’s 2030 plan, which calls for 32% of all energy to be generated from renewable sources.

Question– Is there a justification for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine?

Answer– Yes, there is. Russia was being threatened by developments in Ukraine, so it told Ukraine to either stop what it was doing or suffer the consequences. Ukraine chose to ignore those warnings, so Russia invaded. That is basically what happened.

Question– But how does that justify the invasion, after all, Ukraine is a sovereign country and sovereign countries should be able to do whatever they want to on their own territory, right?

Answer– No, that’s wrong. Ukraine does not have the right to do whatever it wants on its own territory. Ukraine and more than 50 other countries signed treaties (“at the OSCE summits in Istanbul in 1999 and in Astana in 2010”) agreeing that they would not strengthen their own security at the expense of other’s security. This is called the “indivisibility of security”, but in practical terms it just means that you can’t put artillery pieces and tanks on your driveway and point them at my house. Because that would undermine my security. Do you understand? The same rule applies to nations. 

If we accept your reasoning on the matter, then we’d have to conclude that John Kennedy had no right to challenge Fidel Castro for putting nuclear weapons in Cuba. But he did have the right because Castro’s action put the US at risk of a nuclear attack. In other words, Castro had no right to improve his own security at the expense of the United States. This is no different. Putin has every right to defend the safety and security of the Russian people, in fact, that is what people expect of their leaders.
