Liz Truss

In 2022 Boris Johnson chose to depart, to leave Number 10 under pressure. See Johnson Resigns. There were too many lies, too many drunken parties while we were being lectured about Covid-19 and locking down. So it was that Liz Truss became Her Majesty's Prime Minister, then a couple of days later His Majesty's Prime Minister. MPs in Parliament, Tories wanted Rishi Sunak, a Pakistani. But real people, i.e. Tory voters as distinct from politicians did not. So we wound up with Liz, who is English as distinct from the mob who wanted power.

She appointed the rest of Her Majesty's Ministers including the other three of the four Great Officers Of State. As a result we have the Truss  Ministry, which, as the Wikipedia tells us, for the first time in British political history, no white men hold positions. There are two blacks and a brown.
PS She was sacked before I had time to write her up.

Eleven Potential Boris Johnson Successors Line Up to Court Conservatives in U.K. Prime Minister Race ex WSJ
QUOTE
LONDON—The race to succeed British Prime Minister Boris Johnson intensified on Monday, with several senior Conservative Party politicians pitching themselves with pledges to stick to his approaches toward Brexit and illegal migration, while looking for ways to stoke economic growth.

Former Treasury chief Rishi Sunak, who helped spark the wave of resignations by ministers and aides that forced Mr. Johnson to step down, has taken an early lead by gaining at least 30 public endorsements from other Tory politicians.

Arrayed against him are Foreign Secretary Liz Truss and Chancellor of the Exchequer Nadhim Zahawi, plus eight other candidates, all hoping to be in the top two after several rounds of voting by Conservative lawmakers before Parliament’s recess in late July. To formally enter the contest candidates must get 20 other lawmakers to back them when nominations open Tuesday. The first round of votes is on Wednesday.

Law makers in Parliament get to choose the two frontrunners. Then party members vote for one or the other. Real people were betrayed by Parliament - again.

Truss Wants Brits To Make War In The Ukraine
QUOTE
The UK’s foreign secretary on Sunday voiced support for British citizens who want to go to Ukraine to fight Russian forces.

Speaking to BBC News, Liz Truss said she would support British citizens if they decided to join Kyiv’s fight against Moscow.

“I do, I do support that and of course that is something that people can make their own decisions about. The people of Ukraine are fighting for freedom and democracy, not just for Ukraine, but for the whole of Europe because that is what President (Vladimir) Putin is challenging,” Truss said.

“Absolutely, if people want to support that struggle, I would support them in that,” Truss added when asked again if she would support UK citizens travelling abroad to fight.

Previous government policy had made it illegal for citizens to fight abroad. UK citizens who went to Syria and Iraq had faced jail sentences and revoking of their citizenship.

It would be crime, contrary to the Foreign Enlistment Act 1870 but she is not hung up on details like that.

Liz Truss Sacks Black Chancer Of The Exchequer
QUOTE
Liz Truss has delivered her press conference at Downing Street today. Ms Truss appeared at the Downing Street lectern from 2.30pm on Friday. Ms Truss was at Number 10 Downing Street having sacked Kwasi Kwarteng as Chancellor. She replaced him with Jeremy Hunt before speaking to the nation.

Earlier, Mr Kwarteng was summoned back early from the annual gathering of the International Monetary Fund in Washington to be told of his fate in a brief meeting with the Prime Minister in Number 10. In further changes, Mr Kwarteng's deputy, Treasury Chief Secretary Chris Philp, is moved to the Cabinet Office in a job swap with Edward Argar.

Sacked in real time so to speak. In the middle of a speech? Pass. That would have made it more pointed.

Truss, Bannon—In UK And US, The Ruling Class Strikes Back, by John Derbyshire ex Unz Review
Liz Truss, the Prime Minister who just resigned after only six weeks on the job, had announced in her first major speech last month that she would greatly expand immigration to stimulate economic growth [ Liz Truss plans more immigration in effort to fill vacancies and drive growth, Guardian, September 25,2022 ]..........

That put her at odds with her cabinet colleague Suella Braverman, an outspoken immigration skeptic [ How an almighty migration row led Suella Braverman to turn against Liz Truss, The Telegraph, October 19, 2022 ].

Yes, Liz Truss will soon be gone, but…Suella Braverman is already gone, forced to resign on Tuesday this week over a trifling breach of security. The real reason for Mrs. Braverman’s defenestration is of course her heterodoxy on immigration. Britain’s Ruling Class wants to restore the David Cameron / Theresa May / Boris Johnson policy of solemn promises around election time followed, once safely elected, by no action whatsoever.

The Archbishop of Canterbury has expressed concern at the potential for the British embassy in Israel to be moved from Tel Aviv to the contested holy city of Jerusalem.

Prime Minister Liz Truss told her Israeli counterpart at the United Nations summit in New York last month that she was considering the relocation, after Donald Trump ordered the same move for the US embassy during his presidency.

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby raised concern about the possible implications before a negotiated settlement is reached between Israel and the Palestinians.

A surprising idea from Welby given that he is a Jew  [ or a bastard - it depends who his father is. ] - see Archbishop Of Canterbury Is  A Jew. This bright idea came from Liz Truss because she is pandering to the Zionist crazies who run Washington & Tel Aviv, the comedians who forced Vladimir Putin to invade the Ukraine. NB Don is just as much a tool of the Jews as Truss. The Mail is acting normally, censoring comments. The truth makes it nervous.

Tory MPs Sabotaging Liz Truss  [ 16 October 2022 ]
QUOTE
COVID cost the country at least £440billion. The energy price guarantee could cost £150billion. The money markets didn’t bat an eyelid.

The Chancellor announces tax cuts of £43billion. The money markets and the IMF go into meltdown. The Chancellor is sacked and the Prime Minister may not be far behind. Why do the bankers and the IMF want to get Truss out before she has even got her feet under the table? Could it be that the bankers want one of their own, Rishi Sunak, as PM and are seeking every opportunity to stick the knife in?..................

Those Tory MPs involved in this ‘coup in plain sight’ want Sunak to be the only candidate if Truss is forced to step down, so that once again the party members won’t have a say in who should be their leader.  They will do everything they can to get their own way and ignore the declared wishes of party members.

The members need to flex their muscles and start de-selecting some of these know-all MPs who have never accepted that members should have a say in the running of the party. Some of these ‘big-head’ Tory MPs need putting back in their box. It would only have to happen to a few to bring the other rebels back into line.

The sad fact is that the Tories won an 80-seat majority in 2019, but it has never been used to introduce measures the Tory members want. Too many Tory MPs think they know better than the Party members.
Their comeuppance is long overdue.

Brian Silvester, writing for the Conservative Woman gets it absolutely right. Tory MPs have agendas. They snivel to anyone and everyone as they reach for power; they are hostages to fortune. It is why they become "Conservative Friends of Israel", i.e. to the Enemies of England. Tories eagerly import Third World parasites as cheap labour for Capitalist Swine. It is high time we got a grip of parliamentary candidates, especially those foisted onto us by party apparatchiks. The same goes double for the Labour Friends of Israel. The Conservative Woman also tells us that:

Prime Minister Liz Truss has sacked her Chancellor of the Exchequer Kwasi Kwarteng, in office for just over five weeks. In doing so she shows herself to be the captured puppet of her Parliamentary Party, not its leader, and a captive of the Left. It is a dark day for conservatism and our country.

Liz Truss Resigns After 44 Days In Number 10  [ 21 October 2022 ]
QUOTE
Liz Truss dramatically admitted defeat and announced she is quitting as PM today with Westminster gearing up for Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak to do 'battle for the soul' of the party. After just 44 disastrous days in No10, Ms Truss took to a lectern outside the famous black door to confirm her departure, sealing her fate as the shortest-serving premier in modern political history.

Revealing she had informed the King of her decision, she said: 'I cannot deliver on the mandate.... I will remain as PM until a successor has been chosen.'  Ms Truss - who insisted she was a 'fighter not a quitter' barely 24 hours ago - said the Tory leadership contest will be completed over the next week. Giving her valedictory statement, she was watched by husband Hugh...................

The number of nominations needed to get on the ballot has been set at 100 MPs. That means in all likelihood only two candidates will be on the first ballot of MPs, and they will merely give an indication of the mood in the Commons rather than whittling down the field.

Under the rules set out tonight, the Tories' grassroots membership is set for an online vote to choose the winning candidate out of a final pairing. The result of the members' ballot will be announced next Friday...............

A slew of apocalyptic polls showing Labour up to 36 points ahead had also fuelled outright panic in the Parliamentary party.

Whoops. The Mail's readers seem to fancy Boris Johnson or Sunak

Liz Truss ex Wiki
Mary Elizabeth Truss (born 26 July 1975)[1][2] is a British politician who is the current prime minister of the United Kingdom and leader of the Conservative Party. She previously held various Cabinet offices under prime ministers David Cameron, Theresa May and Boris Johnson, most recently as foreign secretary from 2021 to 2022. Truss has been Member of Parliament (MP) for South West Norfolk since 2010.

Truss attended Merton College, Oxford and was the president of Oxford University Liberal Democrats.[3] In 1996, she joined the Conservative Party.[4] She worked at Shell and Cable & Wireless, and was deputy director of the think tank Reform. After two unsuccessful attempts to be elected to the House of Commons, she was elected as the MP for South West Norfolk at the 2010 general election.[5] As a backbencher, she called for reform in several policy areas including childcare, mathematics education and the economy. She founded the Free Enterprise Group of Conservative MPs and wrote or co-wrote a number of papers and books, including After the Coalition (2011) and Britannia Unchained (2012).

Truss served as parliamentary under-secretary of state for childcare and education from 2012 to 2014, before Cameron appointed her secretary of state for the environment, food and rural affairs in the 2014 cabinet reshuffle. Although she supported the Britain Stronger in Europe campaign for the United Kingdom to remain in the European Union, she supported Brexit after the 2016 referendum result. After Cameron resigned in July 2016, May appointed Truss secretary of state for justice and lord chancellor, making her the first female lord chancellor in the office's thousand-year history. Following the 2017 general election, Truss was appointed chief secretary to the Treasury.

Following May's resignation in 2019, Truss supported Johnson's successful bid to become Conservative leader and prime minister, after which he appointed Truss as secretary of state for international trade and president of the Board of Trade. She took on the additional role of minister for women and equalities in September 2019. Promoted to foreign secretary by Johnson in the 2021 cabinet reshuffle, she was appointed the government's chief negotiator with the European Union and the United Kingdom's chair of the EU–UK Partnership Council in December 2021, and was involved in the UK's response to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Truss won the 2022 Conservative Party leadership election following Johnson's resignation amid a government crisis. She became prime minister amid an ongoing cost of living crisis and an energy supply crisis, in response to which her government implemented an Energy Price Guarantee limiting energy prices for households, businesses and public sector organisations, and announced various tax cuts in a mini-budget.
