Jahangir Akhtar

Jahangir Akhtar was the deputy leader of the council in Rotherham. He was also taxi driver there. Taxi drivers are central to Pakistani Paedophile Perversion, having abused at least 1,400 children.

Akhtar is also a thug convicted of Affray albeit The Guardian treads lightly on that point because he is a Pakistani while the Grauniad is Racist. The police helped him get off lightly but then they are actively covering up Child Sexual Abuse. Little Miss Champion, their wonderful new MP has no qualms about dealing with him - see e.g. Jahangir Akhtar the taxi driver.

QUOTE
Jahangir Akhtar, 41, was spared a prison term because of his record of helping community relations in Rotherham, where the row broke out between diners last September.

Hull crown court was told that Akhtar, a member of the controlling Labour group on Rotherham council, played a leading role in kicking and punching a customer. Judge Simon Lawler described the attack as "a serious incident which led to a number of people being injured and needing hospital treatment".

After the hearing, Akhtar said he would continue as a councillor. "I will serve my community no matter what happens. Whether that is in the Labour party largely depends on the reaction today."

The court heard that Akhtar, a taxi driver in Rotherham, went to the Minar Balti restaurant in response to a mobile phone call from his brother Tesadiq Hussein, 31, who was drunk and abusive and falsely claimed that he had been attacked by staff.

Akhtar, his son Azzizum, 20, and his brother Shabbir, a 36-year-old martial arts instructor, arrived at about 11.30pm. Fighting broke out.

"Shabbir Akhtar struck a blow to a customer eating his meal and then Jahangir Akhtar joined in the assault on him," said Rodney Jameson, prosecuting. "The man was kicked and punched and fell to the floor and was punched again. He got a black eye."

Judge Lawler told Akhtar that he had been given glowing references including an accolade from a former police commander in Rotherham.

Hussein was jailed for 14 months for his part in the affray; Azzizum Akhtar was given 80 hours of community service and Shabbir Akhtar 130 hours.

A reader who goes under the name Katarias left this interesting comment that brings an even greater illumination into Akhtars modus operandi:

“Last thursday 30 january 2014 a fight broke out between two family members on the taxi rank, where one driver had suffered from bruising and 4 broken teeth, the katari family got involved to call the truce.
The pertpetrator was held over night in police custody and charged with GBHs he was also reported to licensing.
Mansha Hussain Jangir Aktar right hand man contacted Asbo and Jangir spoke to these 2 drivers and became the mediator where these individual were invited to Jangir house on Monday night.
A cash payment was made to Jangir who has assured the perpetrator that no action will be taken by police or licencing.
He reminded the drivers he has done them a huge favour and one day they will need to pay him back.
He also informed them that his election is due and they must do leaflet drop for them and sell his tickets for a charity event.
Talk about control.”

There was me thinking that this is Rotherham, in the 21st Century?
