Lobster Magazine was founded by Robin Ramsay & Stephen Dorril in 1983. It is about Conspiracies; aiming to deal with provable realities rather than Conspiracy Theories. It was recommended long ago by Paul Foot RIP , an eminent left wing journalist.

Lobster Magazine's initial focus was on deep politics - roughly, the impact of the intelligence and security services on history and politics - but has since widened out to include contemporary history, politics and economics and associated subculture. All new issues of Lobster (from 2009) are available on-line for free. Previous issues back to 1983, or articles from them, are available on-line for a small fee online or as a CD-Rom. Most issues up to number 57 are available in hard copy from the editor, Robin Ramsay.
