The Constitution and Federal Powers
The American Constitution is a remarkable document and the primary law of the United States of America. It grants powers to the Federal Government and no more. The Federal Government does not like any limitation which is why it has stolen power. But sometimes people fight back. Sometimes they win. Here is an example.
Attorney acquitted on Federal income tax charges
QUOTE
A Shreveport attorney who has challenged the government for years on the legality of filing federal income taxes has been acquitted on charges he failed to file returns..... "The court could not find a law that makes me liable or makes my revenues taxable," Cryer said...... he stopped filing returns more than 10 years ago after he investigated claims that income tax was a sham.
UNQUOTE
Having a written Constitution is a problem for a criminal government and that is what Americans have got - both that is.
