Voting in England

If you have lived in England in the last fifteen [ 15 ] years you are entitled to vote there. To do this you have to register using a standard form - download it from Overseas Registration Form If you register before 13 March 2006 you will be able to vote against them in May this year. It is worth doing.

Send the form to the person who runs keeps the electoral roll. A Google search will find him. If you live far away you will need a proxy, someone living in Blighty to vote for you and preferably someone who sees things the way you do. That is because they send the voting forms out ten days before the live voting day.

Vote for the good or against the bad. In practice it is usually the latter.

It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.
