Taxes, Brown and the Budget

Brown is a sanctimonious rogue with unlimited greed. Unlimited means well over £500 billion a year and that is just what he admits to. He is getting it up by at least 6% a year which is well over the claimed rate of inflation. Of course the inflation is something he uses to make us poorer. Cranking up the printing presses to make more money has a huge profit margin for him. The cost of production is well under 1%.

He is also a canting rogue who claims that he is taxing fairly and doing it all for our own good. This has the minor advantage of proving that he is a liar. Notice that he boasts how much he is spending per person but says nothing about how much he is taxing the average man.  Also that he spends more than he screws out of us. He just loves to spend. Here are some numbers from Her Majesty's Treasury web site. This Is Money tells us that the average pay in 2005 was £28,210 in 2005. The tax man spent £8,700 for every man, woman and child. That did not leave much for a man to live on. Then there is the matter of robbing future generations using post dated cheques. He calls it Private Finance Initiatives.

The first panacea for a mismanaged nation is inflation of the currency; the second is war. Both bring a temporary prosperity; both bring a permanent ruin. But both are the refuge of political and economic opportunists.

That covers Blair as well as Brown

This might be true as a minimum figure. There has been extensive fraud to get money off the balance sheet. If businesses did their accounting this way men would go to prison. - Editor

QUOTE
The Government will continue to invest in frontline public service alongside securing the best possible value for taxpayer's money. Budget 2009 sets assumptions for spending growth from 2011-12 to 2013-14 which allow continued investment in public services whilst ensuring sustainable public finances in medium term.
