Paulson, Fool Or Rogue?

The answer is not entirely clear. Hank was in the business and as the U.S. Treasury Secretary, he was a front man which makes him easy to blame when things go wrong. Some time ago he was sent off to China to plead with them. Changing the rules would have deferred problems. The Chinamen did not oblige. I am disposed to believe that he was more fool than rogue albeit he ran Goldman Sachs, a Jewish firm.
