Alexa Rating and Fraud

Alexa seems to be an off shoot of  Google, which gives traffic rating for sites on the Web. How does it do this? By using volunteers whose searches are totalled up to give results. IF a few thousand people are typical the results are statistically valid provided that the numbers are not then manipulated to distort them. NB, a low number implies high traffic. Some current [ July 2017 ] results are at Media mobs.

Here is something on them from John Bryant also known as The Birdman. He compares his traffic which is high and rising with their valuation which low and getting lower.

FANTASTIC As of March, this site is getting 32 MILLION HITS A MONTH That's more than a MILLION HITS A DAY! Which, if Birdman is not mistaken, makes us the top pro-white/pro-Western civilization site, and the top pro-freedom/libertarian site, to say nothing of making us one of the top sites in the world. Here are all the details, plus a few qualifications.
Birdman is pleased about his site's success as you might have guessed from the link. His other point is that his Alexa rating has no connection with its traffic and public interest but is more likely to be connected with the agenda of the owners of Alexa.

This is an earlier and significantly different version of the article above.

The Birdman created his site to put his position after falling out with his local branch of Mensa and their refusal to publish it. This was a direct breach of their rules.
