The old and the bold. They did their jumps. They served Queen and Country during the Cold War, helping to win without a shot fired in anger - apart from all of those proxy wars that were arranged to keep the men busy. Now they are taking it easy. They earned their rest.

The French have their airborne too. Some are in the French Foreign Legion which is based in Corsica these days. Sidi-Bel-Abbès  is a distant memory. That was then. This is now.
